Looking for more ways to improve your Google Business Profile? Well, Google’s new Search Generative Experience (SGE) has now started utilizing Google Business Profile data to aid in forming the AI-generated snapshot response. SGE is using data “from the reviews, photos, and Business Profile details that people have submitted to Google for more than 200 million places in the real world,” says Google.
One can see the review and photo data directly from Google Business Profiles being displayed in the AI-generated snapshot answer in SGE in a new video released by the tech giant. Even a test run can be seen by asking distinguished questions to Google which could be answered by the snapshot answer generated by the AI.
This update makes it more important to ensure businesses have thorough and good quality photos on their Google Business Profile listings. Moreover, it is essential to build up good reviews because SGE can incorporate those.
This also shows how Google is relying on multiple data sources, it has at its disposal, to make its SGE AI-generates snapshots more accurate.
