• Provides high tolerance for dry or wet fingers.  Capture quality is not dependent on how wet or dry is the finger, which is a common issue with traditional sensor-based devices.  
• Supports spoof-detection.  The fingerprint capture algorithms make it impossible for an imposter to submit a fake fingerprint by scanning an image of a fingerprint.  The system will reject any and all non-live fingerprints.

• More sanitary capture process as there is no need for direct contact (touching) as opposed to traditional fingerprint capture devices where direct contact with the devices is needed.
• All processing can be done on the mobile device (smartphone) where the Industrial Biometrics software resides on. While a cellphone is the only device required for the capture of a fingerprint with our innovative solution, a fingerprint sensor, and a host computer or smartphone are required with the traditional fingerprint capture devices. 
• Industrial Biometrics algorithms include the fingerprint segmentation module.  When two-finger or four-finger capture modes are selected, Industrial Biometrics provides segmented individual fingerprint images.  Additional third-party segmentation software is not required or needed.
